Pure Silver Half Baltic Tellin Shell pendant

Made ftom 99.9% Pure Silver. Cast from half of a Baltic Tellin.

Baltic Tellins are bivalve mollusks, made up of 2 separate shells held together by a hinge ligament, enabling the shell to open.

So one side of the shell is only half of the animal.

This shell was discovered on one of my many walks on Walberswick Beach in Suffolk with my dogs Audrey and Harry.

This pendant is paired with an 18" Sterling Silver Belcher Chain.
