Pure Silver Complete Baltic Tellin Pendant

Made ftom 99.9% Pure Silver. Cast from a Baltic Tellin.

Baltic Tellins are bivalve mollusks, made up of 2 separate shells held together by a hinge ligament, enabling the shell to open.

So one side of the shell is only half of the animal.

This is a complete Tellin, so has both shells.

This shell was discovered on one of my many walks on Walberswick Beach in Suffolk with my dogs Audrey and Harry.

Each Pendant is a completley unique, one off piece.

This pendant is paired with an 18" Sterling Silver Belcher Chain.

This pendant measures 12mm in height, 9mm in width.
